About Hands2gether

Hands2gether is a not-for-profit company run by Dave and Carol John that has successfully provided Day Support Services for many years.

Dave has over 20 years’ experience of working in the social care field specialising in learning, physical and sensory disabilities. It is with knowledge, experience and seeing first-hand the benefits that comes from creativity that led us to create Hands2gether.

We care very much for the individual, so aim to offer a first class service that is small and personal.

In 2012 we leased the business unit next door to offer facilities to the whole community using a by-product of our support services that was sometimes difficult to sell on. It was decided to expand and open Hands2gether ‘Paint Your Own Pottery’ and ‘Craft Workshops’. The unit is very homely and is now open 7 days a week.

Additional activities will continue to be added throughout the year.

Future plans are to re-establish the Craft workshops and provide more opportunities for all age groups within the community.

We are blessed by having a great team of workers and volunteers – feel free to come in and look around, say hello and enjoy a coffee or tea.
