POTTERY WORKSHOP

Our weekly Pottery evening has always been popular and runs every Wednesday evening from 7pm – 9pm.

Dave will work through different and interesting techniques such as slab work, ball work, modelling, coil work, sculpturing glazing and potter’s wheel.

The cost for the evening is £8.50 adults and £5 for children. Carer’s charge £4. Please note: very large items or special glaze requirements will incur an additional charge.

Come and enjoy yourself, meet new friends, no experience required.

SEWING WORKSHOP

Do you have a sewing machine that’s packed away; why not learn how to use it with confidence. Faith an experienced machinist has kindly volunteered to run our sewing workshop, if necessary you will be shown how to use your machine just bring it along. The workshop will run every Wednesday afternoon from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and Thursday evening from 6.30pm  to 8.30pm – bring along your own material and pattern or other sewing projects and enjoy an evening together.

NO MACHINE! Not to worry we have spares.

Refreshments are available. Places are limited so booking is advisable by calling Faith on 07746 777 865.

There is no charge for this workshop but we would appreciate weekly donations towards the maintenance of the sewing machines.

KNITTING AND CROCHET WORKSHOP

Here at Hands2gether we would love to start knitters and crochet group. A great way of making new friends while enjoying yourself and maybe learning a new skill. We would need one or two good knitters or crocheters to help other’s – if you think you could volunteer and help please contact Carol on 01752 658784 or 07866 747 855.

TOTE BAG WORKSHOP – Depending on interest

Would you like to do your bit for the environment? If so, let’s just get together and do our bit for the environment.

This workshop is free and no sewing experience is necessary just come along and help make Tote Bags that we can then give away. A chance to meet new friends, have a coffee or tea.

JEWELLERY MAKING WORKSHOP

No more buying expensive cards – make them personal and send your handmade cards to your family and friends.

WOODCRAFT WORKSHOP

A small group workshop learning traditional preparation and sanding techniques and various paint effects. Making smaller items and maybe uplifting furniture together.
